Flood Update

Chiselborough – Current level IN FLOOD 2.48m rising floods at 1.8m. The A356 Martock to Crewkerne road is likely to have flood water on it at the River Parrett Bridge.

Gawbridge – Current level 2.06m, rising floods at 2.80m. Surface water likely on Coat Road and Broadmead, Gawbridge, see below re flooding of Hawthorn Hill

Long Load – Current level in Flood 8.51m rising, floods at 9.26m

Witcombe Bottom – Current level 7.32m falling, floods at 8.44m

Ilchester – Current level 1.25m rising, floods at 2.90m

Pen Mill, Yeovil – Current Level 2.82m rising, floods at 3.34m

Martock to South Petherton Road – Surface water and it is likely to flood during the morning with the rising River level

Stoke Road, Martock – OPEN with surface water, care required. The rising level Flood Alarm on the in flow to the village has now levelled off below activation level

Coat Road, Coat – OPEN with some surface water likely on the Coat Road, (Stapleton to Coat), section 50 metres on the Stapleton side of the old Railway Bridge, care required.

Sparrows Corner, B3165, Bower Hinton – OPEN

Foldhill Lane – 500 metres from A303, some surface water care required

Hawthorn Hill – Flooded and impassable for cars at the Kingsbury Rhyne culvert
