In Martock we are lucky enough to have regular health walks, run on the 3rd Friday of the month, led by Maggie around the local countryside and are a great social and healthy exercise.
To compliment this, we now offer shorter Well-being walk, at a slower pace and more level to make it accessible for those who may have reduced mobility. We’ve called them Well-being walks, as hopefully they are – we stop and engage our senses.
We smell the flowers, listen to the birds, be in the moment and enjoy the here and now and little things that our busy lives can easily over-look. These run on the 2nd Tuesday of the month starting at the big Rec, and the 4th Friday of the month starting at the Precinct.
