Alison moved to Martock in early 2021 and is the office manager for 2 care homes – one in Yeovil and the other in Bristol. Married to Ash (also a councillor) for 40 years, they have two daughters. Alison has previously served as vice-chair of Broomfield parish council in the Quantocks; she also served for a number of years as the treasurer of Moorland village hall. Alison is a keen gardener and previously opened her garden in Moorland to the public to raise monies for charity under the National Gardens Scheme. Alison chairs the Finance & Resources standing committee of the parish council.
