Martock Parish Hall is a key community space in the heart of the village. Built in 1885, the hall was established by local Nonconformist Liberals after they were barred from using the Market House in 1884 due to political disagreements.
Since then, the Parish Hall has served as a welcoming venue for public meetings, local groups, events, and private functions. It continues to be an important hub for village life, offering space for everything from coffee mornings and fitness classes to celebrations and community gatherings.
The hall is run for the benefit of the community and is available to hire at reasonable rates. Whether you’re planning a small event or a larger gathering, Martock Parish Hall offers a convenient and friendly setting.
The hall features a kitchen, stage, and spacious main room, making it ideal for a wide range of uses — from community meetings and classes to children’s parties, private celebrations, performances, and club events. It’s a flexible and welcoming venue at the heart of the village, available to hire at affordable rates.
