Merry Martock – 29th December 2023
A wonderful afternoon held for the community, an opportunity for the parish to come together. With a delicious hot lunch, quizzes, music and raffle, and the hall
filled with chatter and laughter, it was a time to catch up with friends and an opportunity to start new ones!
There was a keenness from many to join new local groups in the New year, this so positive in addressing isolation which is particularly heightened this time of year.
Merry Martock also reached out to many far beyond those who were able to attend.
A big thank you to Fi Hook and our wonderful team of volunteers, Dawn and Sarah from the Coffee Pot for the delicious food, Barry Longhurst for the musical entertainment, Louise Clarke for the table favours, Ben our Community Bus driver and to all who donated gifts and prizes.
